Standards before scale

Supply Chain

INSPECIAL brings together products from independent supply partners. This statement explains the expectations used to assess products, working conditions, business conduct, traceability, and corrective action.

Platform approach

A curated, partner-based supply network

INSPECIAL does not present every supplier or factory as owned or directly operated by the platform. Products can be sourced from independent manufacturers, brands, distributors, and fulfillment partners. The objective is to make useful, relevant products easier to discover while holding partners to documented commercial, product, and conduct expectations.

Minimum expectations

Responsible business and labor standards

Supply partners are expected to follow applicable laws and to prohibit forced labor, child labor, human trafficking, harassment, discrimination, unsafe working conditions, bribery, falsified records, and unauthorized subcontracting. Workers should receive lawful pay, working hours, rest, and access to a safe workplace.

These expectations apply to the partner and relevant subcontractors involved in products supplied to INSPECIAL.

Before listing

Supplier and product onboarding

Depending on product and market risk, INSPECIAL may request business registration, product specifications, safety information, test reports, labeling details, manufacturing location, fulfillment capability, and evidence of authorization to sell. A submitted document is reviewed for relevance and consistency; it is not treated as proof beyond its stated scope.

Risk-based controls

Product information and quality checks

Partners are responsible for accurate descriptions, images, variants, materials, warnings, compatibility details, and packaging. INSPECIAL can use document review, sample evaluation, listing checks, fulfillment data, customer feedback, and issue rates to identify products that need additional review.

No review eliminates every defect. Confirmed safety or accuracy concerns can lead to listing correction, sales suspension, customer outreach, or removal.

Know the path

Traceability and recordkeeping

Partners are expected to maintain records that connect products to the relevant supplier, production batch or purchase documentation, and fulfillment route where applicable. Labels and shipping documents must not misrepresent origin, composition, certification, or responsible party.

INSPECIAL may request updated records when a product changes, a complaint indicates a new risk, or a market requirement is revised.

Problems require evidence

Corrective action and consequences

When a concern is substantiated, the response is based on severity, recurrence, cooperation, and customer risk. Actions can include corrected content, additional documentation, a time-bound improvement plan, order restrictions, withheld onboarding, delisting, or ending the relationship. Severe issues can require immediate suspension while facts are reviewed.

A living standard

Monitoring and continuous improvement

Supply-chain oversight evolves with product mix, destination markets, customer feedback, law, and operational learning. INSPECIAL prioritizes controls where harm is more likely or more serious rather than presenting a one-time review as a permanent guarantee.

This page will be updated as the platform formalizes additional supplier, product-safety, and traceability processes.

Speak up

Report a supply-chain concern

Customers, workers, suppliers, and other stakeholders can report a product, labor, sourcing, or business-conduct concern to support@in-special.com. Include the product or partner, order information if relevant, a factual description, dates, and supporting evidence. Reports are reviewed on the information available and should be made in good faith.
